Another fact that shows the growth of fiction audiobooks in Spanish across international markets is its presence as a category in the Voice Art Awards organized by The Society of Voice Arts And Sciences in New York, similar to the Oscars. The winner of this edition was the Dominican broadcaster and producer Angely Báez, for her work with the book “La Obsesión”. He shared a nomination with Nathalia Hencker, Susana Ballesteros and Yareli Arizmendi (“Antes de que llegaras”), Vicky Tessio (“Jodidas pero cotentas”), Martha Escobar (“Peregrinos”) and Gerardo Prat (“El pintor de sombras”).
